Anhui National Key Project of Diverting the River to the Huai River

The Yangtze River and Huaihe River Diversion Project connects the two major water systems of the Yangtze River and the Huaihe River, and is a major strategic water resources allocation and comprehensive utilization project across provinces and river basins. Focusing on urban and rural water supply and the development of the Jianghuai waterway, combined with irrigation to replenish water and improve the ecological environment of Chaohu Lake and Huaihe River. The estimated total investment of the project is 91.27 billion yuan, and the application of tiled ecological blocks not only ensures the stability of both sides of the Yangtze River, but also completes the ecological construction of the bank slope, which provides a guarantee for the overall promotion of various livelihood projects.
