The problem of watershed pollution is mainly caused by pollutants discharged into water bodies exceeding their carrying capacity and self purification level. After being polluted, rivers often turn black and smelly, and there is a decrease in fish, shrimp, and other aquatic organisms, as well as eutrophication. Once the river water is polluted, not only will its original functions such as laundry and irrigation be affected, but in severe cases, it may even directly threaten the health of residents on both sides of the river. At present, the commonly used methods for comprehensive river management include sewage interception and reduction, construction of drainage networks and sewage treatment plants, river dredging, artificial oxygenation technology, biological treatment technology, and drainage technology.
